As our safaris are in great demand it is imperative that you book early to avoid disappointment.

Size of Party
The maximum number in any party is 4. This is done to ensure that our clients are comfortable in our transport and to ensure noise and distractions are kept to a minimum.

Children
We regret that we do not accept children younger than 16 years of age.

Booking Process
The booking process is entirely in your hands. The first step being to check the availability of a Safari period by sending an e-mail requesting the availability of your preferred dates. We will reply either confirming the availability or offering alternative dates .

Duration of Safari
We suggest a period 5 to 7 days. This should enable our guests to relax and enjoy their visit and at the same time provide adequate time to see the majority of wildlife species in the area..

Book Early to Avoid Disappointment
You should book early to give as much time as possible to make the necessary reservations and to plan your stay with us.

Once your dates have been confirmed you need to send an e-mail to us immediately (admin@crocodileriversafaris.com) requesting that the dates are reserved for you.

On receipt of your e-mail we will secure the dates for you.

Our Questionnaire
An e-mail and a questionnaire will be sent to you together with a request for the deposit payment, the price and details of how to pay.

Payment
To secure your dates you need to send your 50% deposit payment by electronic transfer as soon as possible. If you have not paid the deposit within 10 days the dates will be released for another party to book. The final payment will need to be sent no later than 60 days before your safari starts.

Confirmation
Once your payment is received we will send you an e-mail confirming your reservation and providing you with your "Booking Number". Once your booking is confirmed nobody may change it. Any cancellation after this point will be subject to a cancellation fee. (See below)

Completing the Questionnaire
Having paid the deposit for your Safari it is important for you to complete the questionnaire and return it to us as soon as possible. We will use the information to plan your stay with us and to ensure that all your needs are catered for. The information will not be shown to anybody not involved in the planning process. On completion of the plan the information will be destroyed.

Confidentiality of Information
Your contact details will not be used for any purpose other than for contacting you regarding your stay with us.

Ongoing Communication
You may receive a series of e-mail communications from us as we tidy up all the loose ends and send you additional information. Your co-operation regarding your replies to these communications is important. We truly believe that "Failing to plan is planning to fail" so we will try to ensure that all the details for your visit are covered.

Pricing
The price of the safari will be quoted once we all your requirements are known. This will be sent to you by e-mail. For budgeting purposes you should work on an amount of £150 per person per day.

The above price includes:
transfers between Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport and the Lodge
luxury accommodation
all meals
coffees and teas where applicable.
pre-dinner drinks and wine with your evening meal
drinks and snacks when travelling in the vehicle
entrance fee into the Kruger National Park and Lionspruit Game Reserve

It does not include:
unplanned activities
purchase of curios and gifts
purchase of any medicine or toiletries
payment for doctor, dentist or hospital

Cancellation Policy & Terms and Conditions

Bookings, Payment and Cancellation

Deposit
When making a booking with Crocodile River Safaris you will be required to pay a non-refundable deposit equal to 50% of the price quoted.

Full payment
The balance is payable 60 days prior to arrival.

Cancellation Policy
In the event of a booking being cancelled the following cancellation fee is payable:

90 days prior to start date = 50% of the price
60 days prior to start date = 100% of the price

Crocodile River Safaris reserves the right to cancel the reservation if full payment is not received 60 days before arrival.

Items Not Covered
Certain items are not covered in the price of the safari. These costs are the responsibility of the client and include, but are not limited to, airfares or transportation to the agreed pick up point (Mpumalanga Kruger International Airport), insurance, gratuities, optional meals and optional excursions.

The Client's responsibility
It is your responsibility to ensure that you obtain any passports, visas, health certificates and innoculations, international driving licence or any other documentation required whilst on holiday in South Africa and to ensure that these are in order and carried with you at all times.

When travelling to South Africa you are required to have at least two blank pages in your passport on arrival to enable the entry visa to be issued. If you have insufficient space your entry will be denied.

It is most important that you check your visa requirements well before your departure.

Termination of the Safari
Threatening, offensive or abusive behaviour will not be tolerated under any circumstances. We reserve the right to terminate your safari with immediate effect and without notice, if in our opinion the behaviour of you or any member of your party is threatening, offensive or abusive or if it affects the enjoyment of other visitors or local residents or service providers. In this event the police will be summoned, charges laid and no refund will be payable.

Insurance
It is important that you should take out suitable, adequate insurance for your trip covering cancellation or curtailment of you holiday, medical expenses arising whilst on holiday, repatriation in the event of serious illness or injury and loss or damage to baggage.

Crocodile River Safaris cannot be held responsible for damage or loss of baggage or any medical expenses incurred through illness or injury whilst on safari.

Payment
Payment is to be made by electronic bank transfer. Details of our bank account will be made available to you during the booking process. All payments must be made in full and free of bank charges.

Critical Checklist
Be certain you have with you:
valid passport
valid visa – if required
one other picture bearing form of identification (eg. driving licence)
photocopy of passport page to carry in your wallet (in case you lose your passport)
air tickets (if applicable)
expense money
comprehensive travel insurance
credit cards
medical prescription (if required)
bank and credit card contact details (in case you lose your card)
