Crocodile River Lodge is a private residence offered for use by guests who would like to experience life in the bushveld without having the hassle of buying and maintaining a lodge of their own.

When not in use for safaris we offer our lodge as self catering accommodation to those who would like to cater for themselves.

We hope that you will above all enjoy the experience of living in the wild african bush and at the same time show respect for the accommodation and equipment provided.

Fully Fitted Kitchen
The kitchen is fully fitted with an electric stove, refrigerator, freezer and other appliances and utensils. Crocery, cutlery and glassware are provided. All you wil need is your food and drink. See "What to Bring" page for more detail.

Accomodation for Six
The Lodge sleeps six and has three double bedrooms, two with double beds and one with twin beds. One bedroom has a bathroom en suite and the other two bedrooms share a shower and toilet.

All the rooms are well appointed and are fitted with ceiling fans and have new linen, comforters and mosquito nets.

The two double bedrooms have glass doors that lead out onto the patio.

Living Room
A comfortable living room looks onto a large tiled patio and the surrounding bushveld through glass patio doors

Plunge Pool
On one side of the patio is a plunge pool for your exclusive use. This is ideal for cooling off during the the heat of the day.

Patio
The patio extends along the front of the house. Two double bedrooms have access to the patio via glass patio doors. Part of the patio is under thatch providing a cool area to sit and relax in the heat of the day. This is an ideal place to serve meals.

Alarm System
For your security, the lodge is fitted with a simple to use, electronic remote operated alarm system, that is connected to a security response organisation offices located just three minutes away. In remote areas unwanted visitors may arrive unseen. Thefore the alarm should be set whenever you leave the lodge to ensure your property is safe. Should the alarm be triggered assistance will arrive within minutes.

Barbecue Area
In the front to the house is a barbecue area where you, your family and guests can sit around an open fire and enjoy a hearty barbecue.

Car Port
A covered car port provides shade and protection for your vehicle.
